The UK’s largest urban beach features a vast area of fine, deep white sand, 2 paddling pools (One is 1/3 full Olympic pool), funfair rides, two beach bars and a host of sporting events and activities.
Spend the day with family and friends building sandcastles, having fun at the fair and enjoying seaside snacks in the Stratford sunshine.
Or come and cool off after work with a beer or wine at Pub Tropicana or a sundowner cocktail, mocktail or fruit juice at Coconut Joe’s bar.
Live entertainment, themed events and cracking competitions, will ensure there is always a holiday atmosphere at BeachEast.
And celebrating a sporting summer on the Park, there will be a packed programme of fun beach activities throughout the holidays including volleyball, cricket, football, boccia and fitness classes.

What’s at BeachEast?
The Beach – Two beaches actually. 1000 tons of fine sand spread to a depth of up to 30cm and including two full-size beach volley-ball courts.
2 Paddling Pools – Our 25m x 8m it’s 1/3 full Olympic pool size and the largest paddling pool we have ever included in any of our beach attractions .. and changing rooms.
We also have a smaller 7m x 7m pool for toddlers to enjoy.
Pub Tropicana – our double-deck beach bar will be open all day everyday providing a mainstream offer in a laid back atmosphere with regular live entertainment.
Coconut Joe’s Cocktail and Juice Bar – Located on the smaller beach area Coconut Joe’s has a dual function. At quieter times it will be an alcohol-free bar serving juices and mocktails. In the evenings and at the weekend cocktails and a range of local craft beers will be on sale.
BeachFeast – Fixed, permanent and changing, temporary food outlets next to the bars providing for a wide range of tastes and diets.
Funfair – a selection of quality fairground rides suitable for the whole family.
Sports and other activities – The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’s Sport and Health team manage the Active People Active Park program. They will be running beach sports with local primary school children in our opening weeks and a whole month of sports activities on the beach in August.
